Dr. Chen is wonderful in many ways. She is always very warm, clear and concise in all her explanations. She is not rushed but patient to answer all my questions. She is also very understanding of my symptoms to give good advice on when to do or not do surgery, and what to expect from the surgery. I live in Redding which is 4+ hours away, and Dr. Chen has made it possible for me to schedule the surgery when it will work for me, and the video appointments to save me a big trip to Stanford. The only thing is her very limited clinical hours make it challenging to schedule appointments at times.
