惭补驳苍别迟庐 designation sponsored by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) requires public notice of the site visit.
- Patients, family members, staff, and other interested parties are invited to provide feedback via email or direct mail.

SHC Nurse Residency Program听Accredited with Distinction听 by the 听American Nurses Credentialing Center鈥檚 (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs
The 糖心传媒 Nurse Residency Program has been accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center鈥檚 (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.听
The Nurse Residency Program was awarded with the best practice honor for their 鈥渉olistic approach to wellness which fosters the physical, emotional, and professional well-being of residents. By integrating wellness practices into both the curriculum and daily operations, the program not only supports the development of competent and compassionate nurses but also emphasizes the importance of self-care as a foundation for effective patient care. This comprehensive approach ensures that residents are equipped to thrive in their roles, maintaining a healthy balance that enhances both personal resilience and professional growth.鈥澨
The Nurse Residency Program submitted accreditation in the following seven clinical practice settings听(oncology, acuity adaptable, critical care, emergency services, post-anesthesia recovery unit (PACU), dialysis and psychiatry)听which represents听655 nurse residents听who participated in the program between February 2021-February 2025.听
Following submission of the 500+ page accreditation self-study document, the Nurse Residency Program completed a virtual visit with appraisers from the ANCC.听
Fifty individuals including nurse residents, preceptors, unit educators, clinical nurse specialists, nursing professional development specialists, patient care managers and assistant patient nurse managers, directors, and executive nursing leadership as well as partners in human resources, mentorship, preceptor program, competency management program and academia participated in the virtual visit.听
