

Biography
He is the Principal Investigator of a sleep digital health trial and Co-Principal Investigator of an NIH-funded multi-institutional immunology project, with deep involvement in study design, budgeting, regulatory oversight, and team coordination.
From 2020 to 2023, Dr. Capasso served as Associate Dean for Research at Stanford School of Medicine, where he helped shape ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ infrastructure and policy across departments.
He is an Advisor to the Stanford Mussalem Center for Biodesign, where he has mentored dozens of students and start-ups across Brazil, Japan, Singapore, and the U.S. Many of these ventures have developed commercial devices, influenced policy or raised significant investment.
Over his career, Dr. Capasso has mentored hundreds of medical students, residents, fellows, and visiting scholars from over 30 countries, offering guidance in both clinical excellence and entrepreneurial thinking. His scholarship includes 100+ peer-reviewed publications, numerous invited keynotes, and impactful editorial contributions to leading academic journals.
