Biography

Dr. Rogo-Gupta is a urogynecologist and Associate Division Director of Gynecology and Gynecologic Specialties, Clinic Chief of the Ambulatory Gynecology Service Line, and Well-Being Director for the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In her current roles, Dr. Rogo-Gupta seeks to incorporate physician well-being into strategic decisions impacting all parts of the academic mission鈥攃linical care, education, and 糖心传媒. She is particularly proud of operational changes to increase efficiency and improve both patient and physician experience. Under her leadership gynecology was recognized as one of the TOP 10 patient experience drivers across the enterprise. Dr. Rogo-Gupta is passionate about teaching and mentoring and has received numerous awards throughout her career and enjoys lecturing locally and abroad.

Dr. Rogo-Gupta鈥檚 experiences in clinical operations and medical education have given her a unique perspective on faculty development needs at academic medical centers. She is actively involved in the design and implementation of department-wide programs including mentorship and coaching, critical event support, faculty didactics, and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Stanford Network for Advancement and Promotion program.

Dr. Rogo-Gupta proudly joined Stanford in 2013 following residency at Columbia University and fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also completed the NIH K30 Graduate Research Training Program. Dr. Rogo-Gupta鈥檚糖心传媒 interests include surgery outcomes and institutional and national levels her work has been widely published and recognized by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She currently serves on the Editorial Board of her specialty journal, Urogynecology.

While Dr. Rogo-Gupta did not ask me to repeat back the care plan, it was because she outlined it perfectly. I took notes and we were in agreement regarding follow up. I do think she cares about my emotions and makes time for a short personal conversation at the beginning of the call. She does not ask directly about my emotional state, but infers it, which I appreciate. Dr. Rogo-Gupta is very understanding about what women are going through at this time of life (late 50's) without a touch of condescension. I hope we continue to learn more about women's health during this stage of life and I appreciate a doctor like Dr. Rogo-Gupta who has focused her practice on women's health.

Dr. Rogo-Gupta is thorough and kind. The actual visit was quick. My only challenge was I thought Dr. Rogo-Gupta was going to be performing the procedure solo. Instead, a resident (rough handed!) performed most. When Dr. Gupta took control of the device, there was a significant difference in her manipulation technique.

Unfortunately, I was not given the 2 page questionaire that was to be completed prior to seeing the doctor as I did arrive 30 minutes early and was called back 20 minutes passed my apt time, giving plenty of time to complete the forms for the provider. So the provider had to do this out loud with me wasting her time as well as mine on other areas that we could of focused more on. both of the providers that I consulted with were wonderful. As I do work in a clinic setting, I'm aware of how valuable the doctors time is. This should of never happened.
