Laughter for Healing & Well-Being
In this series, you’ll explore laughter yoga—a unique and playful well-being practice that combines laughter exercises with yogic breathing. Exercises can be done seated or standing. No yoga mats are required.
Each session will include a mix of meditation and gentle movement to harness the power of laughter and cultivate embodied awareness, creativity, resilience, and joy.
Sessions open to patients, family, and staff.
Exclusion criteria:
People who are experiencing the following:
Recent abdominal, chest, or heart surgery
Acute pain or discomfort (due to recent injury or surgery)
Untreated heart conditions (e.g., angina, arrhythmia)
Severe respiratory issues that may be exacerbated by sustained laughter
Active hernias (especially abdominal or inguinal)
