The Inpatient Rehabilitation Services Department at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ provides the highest quality rehabilitative care through the use of state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practice and a highly-skilled team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists.
Our therapists collaborate with multidisciplinaryÌýteams to develop and deliver an individualized plan of care that is aligned with each patient’s illness severity, individual needs and discharge plan.Ìý
The team works directly with nursing staff to minimize immobility, promote return of function and efficiently prepare patients for discharge to the next level of care or home.

In the hospital, our rehabilitation staff are embedded in all Acute and Intensive Care Units as well as Observation Units and the Emergency Department.
Therapists use exercise, functional retraining, adaptive equipment and caregiver education to optimize each patient’s ability prior to discharge.
Therapists routinely participate in Interdisciplinary Rounds and Performance Improvement projects to improve the processes for delivering excellent care.
Many of our staff hold advanced certifications in Critical Care, Orthopedics, Neurology, Geriatrics,ÌýLymphedema, and Vestibular to deliver the most current rehabilitation techniques in a compassionate and patient-centered manner.Ìý
Our team of Clinical Specialists participate in multi-professional Quality Improvement Projects and ensure that all Rehab staff use Evidence Based Practice.
