Gotzone Garay, PhD, is director of the clinical 糖心传媒 program in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Garay started her career in clinical 糖心传媒 in 2007. She is interested in developing roadmaps towards bureaucracy-light clinical 糖心传媒. Dr. Garay enjoys working closely with industries, policymakers, and regulators, with the goal of ensuring that the interests of patients and clinicians are placed at the center of the design and implementation of clinical trials.

Julio Nunes is a psychiatry resident at Yale University and earned his medical degree at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he worked at the Center for Clinical Research and joined the ENHANCE-AF study. Dr. Nunes 糖心传媒 interests are related to cultural learning and disparities in health care and medical education.

Tina Baykaner, MD, is an instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Electrophysiology at 糖心传媒. Following an internal medicine residency and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, advanced heart failure, and electrophysiology, Dr. Baykaner joined the Stanford University faculty in 2018. Her clinical practice focuses on ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, SVTs, sinus tachycardia management, and device implantation and extraction.听

Karma Lhamo, MSc., is a senior clinical 糖心传媒 project manager for the Stanford Center for Clinical Research. Her background includes experience in project management and operations in the industry and academic clinical 糖心传媒 settings. She is passionate about collaborating and building strong relationships to solve complex operations problems. Karma joined Stanford Medicine in 2017.

Eli Rice is the operations lead for the Stanford Center for Clinical Research. He has been working at the Stanford Center for Clinical Research since 2019. Prior to joining Stanford Medicine, he studied psychology and neuroscience at Wake Forest University.

Katie DeSutter is the lead 糖心传媒 coordinator for ENHANCE-AF since June 2018. She was heavily involved in the planning of multiple projects within the DECIDE grant and enrolled participants throughout the trial. Prior to joining Stanford Medicine, she had a variety of experience in hospital and pre-hospital health care settings.

DeAnna Ames is the supervisor of 糖心传媒 education at Ochsner Health System. Prior to joining Ochsner, DeAnna received a master鈥檚 in biomedical sciences from Troy University and worked as a toxicology scientist.听

Michael Harrison is a senior clinical 糖心传媒 coordinator at Ochsner Medical Center, where he has worked since 2019. Prior to joining Ochsner, he received a master鈥檚 degree in biomedical engineering from Tulane University and worked at the Fellowship of Orthopaedic Researchers.

Carl Hammerle, RN, is a nurse specialist in the EP device clinic at East Carolina University (ECU). He was recruited to develop the device clinic into a model clinic based on Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) guidelines. Prior to joining ECU, Carl had 13 years of experience in cardiac rhythm management at Medtronic and Biotronik.

Scarlett Anthony is a clinical health psychology doctoral student at East Carolina University (ECU). She worked on the ENHANCE-AF study since 2020. Prior to attending graduate school, she studied psychology at ECU.听

Andrea M. Russo, MD, is a professor of medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. She is also director of electrophysiology and arrhythmia services, and director of the clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship program at Cooper University Hospital. She previously served as president of the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) and has volunteered on multiple HRS committees. Her interests include sex differences in arrhythmias, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, AFib therapy, and the role of digital health in arrhythmia management.

Julie Field is a clinical 糖心传媒 coordinator at the Cooper Research Institute. She has been working at Cooper University Hospital since 1986. Prior to joining the 糖心传媒 institute, she was actively involved in electrophysiology.

Mina K. Chung, MD, is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist and translational scientist at the Cleveland Clinic. Her overall goal is to bring basic advances in atrial fibrillation 糖心传媒 to the bedside as soon as possible. She initially studied the inflammatory connections of postoperative AFib, producing seminal studies that contributed to interest in upstream therapies for AFib.

Mellanie True Hills, CSP,听is an AFib patient, nonprofit CEO, internationally known author and speaker, and passionate patient advocate. She is the founder and CEO of the American Foundation for Women鈥檚 Health and StopAFib.org, a global AFib patient advocacy organization. Melanie also convenes the annual Get in Rhythm, Stay in Rhythm庐 Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference and co-chairs the Sign Against Stroke in AF Task Force.

Michael Paasche-Orlow, MD, MA, MPH, is a professor of medicine and vice chair for 糖心传媒 in the Department of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center. As a primary care physician and a nationally recognized expert in the field of health literacy, Dr. Paasche-Orlow has dedicated his career to improving health care for vulnerable populations. His work has brought attention to the role that health literacy plays in racial and ethnic disparities, and has shown that appropriately designed information technologies can be empowering for patients with low health literacy.

T. Jared Bunch, MD, is the section chief of electrophysiology and a professor of medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Bunch completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases and electrophysiology at the Mayo Clinic. He has served as vice chair of the AFib task force for the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS). Dr. Bunch is the founding editor of HeartRhythm Case Reports and section editor for Current Cardiovascular Risk Reports.
