Led by experts in vascular and plastic surgery, our team works with Stanford specialists in infectious diseases, dermatology, and orthopaedics to help you properly manage and heal chronic wounds.

We provide access to state-of-the-art equipment for outpatient clinical wound care and advanced treatment options.

Care and Treatment of Chronic Wounds

About the Advanced Wound Care Center

Our focused, multidisciplinary approach for chronic wound care is aimed at helping you heal faster and getting you back on your feet. We identify the best treatment plan to improve blood flow, increase your body's ability to heal wounds, and prevent amputations when possible.

Comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment options include:

  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT)
  • Transcutaneous oxygen measurement (TCOM)
  • Noninvasive vascular laboratory with ultrasound technology to help detect conditions like peripheral artery disease

We coordinate care with other Stanford specialists in:
