The Bone Density Center at Menlo Medical Clinic is pleased to offer the latest technology for osteoporosis and osteopenia screening in a personalized and comfortable environment.

Our state-of-the-art Hologic Discovery W bone densitometer determines bone density at the hip and spine using DXA technology. DXA is the most widely accepted way to screen, diagnose, and track osteoporosis and osteopenia. The radiation exposure from this machine is five to seven times less than that of earlier-generation equipment. The exposure is ten times less than that of a four-view mammogram.

Our internal medicine doctors offer primary and specialty care for adults and seniors. Our doctors are experts in basic and complex medical conditions and provide a range of services including preventive screenings, immunizations, chronic disease diagnosis, counseling, and treatment. We also offer bone density screening and a full-service laboratory on-site.
