Venogram - Medical Test
Venogram
A venogram is a procedure that uses contrast dye to visualize veins in X-ray. The contrast dye causes the blood vessels to appear opaque on the X-ray image, allowing the physician to visualize the blood vessels and evaluate the size and condition of the veins. A venogram is one of the more accurate tests used for diagnosing deep vein thrombosis (DVT), but can also be used to diagnose other abnormalities. Ìý
