Hormone Therapy: About this Treatment
Ìý
Conditions Treated with Hormone Therapy
Certain cancerous tumors become active and grow in the presence of different hormones. At ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½, a group of nationally recognized oncologists, pathologists, and imaging specialists examine each tumor to understand the type of hormone that activates it. Then, we work with you to chart a course of treatment.
- Breast cancer
- Ovarian cancer
- Endometrial cancer
- Prostate cancer
Our Clinics
If you have been diagnosed with a gynecological cancer and would like ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ to help plan your treatment, call the Stanford Women’s Cancer Center and ask to make an appointment. Your doctor can also reach out to our gynecologic oncologists. Within a week, we will have a nurse coordinator contact you to schedule an appointment.
