Diagnosing Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus

Your medical team may need to do a number of tests to confirm normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), such as:

Physical examination, which includes asking about your symptoms
Evaluation of the way you walk
Computed tomography (CT) or听magnetic resonance imaging听(MRI) scans of your brain
Spinal tap听to remove a sample of your cerebrospinal fluid
